AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. You do know that big metal part with the rubber on it that you put in your stack goes on the bottom of the frame? It's made to be a non-skid pad and support for the battery. The frame is assembled very wrong. When assembled correctly it not only supports the battery but helps strengthen the frame and gives a channel for the strap to pass through without it being right under the stack. I've never seen anyone assemble it the way you did. There's a CF part that goes on the stack to attach your VTX to and then you'd have room for a VTX with a real antenna.
Thank you my friend. We'll did many stupid things with that build. All the things u mentioned are correct. I did fix it when actually got this quad to the air and maintenence part came. Thx
No worries, just an observation. I'm in the process of building one with the same frame, that's how I came across yours, getting ideas. Just took the first test flight today and so far I like it.
