This is my first real build that was not from a kit, and my first 3 inch quad. After seeing a post on Reddit using a blue carbon frame from Avant I knew I wanted to make a blue themed quad using the new AIO KISS CC board. This build was made back in March, but I have not had the time to finish it until recently. Other than the blue theme the other goal I had was to make 250 grams or less. I missed that mark by 2 grams some filing of the carbon to round off all the sharp edges will fix that.

What I have made is a 3 inch quad, with a full sized FPV camera, and OSD , running on a 4s battery. Meets the weight limits if I lived in Canada (I am in the US) that is an absolute blast to fly. I live in an area where my 5 inch quad is more of a hassle to fly than a joy. Thanks to people assuming I am trying to spy. However, this much smaller quad is seen as a toy than a threat.

Some of the parts I purchased were on sale at the time. I got the LDPower motors from NewBeeDrone.com during their clearance sale. I normally fly Tattu packs but I decided to try some "premium" packs for this build. I have to say, I think I like these a lot more and I seem to have much more even power.

All I have left to really do is fine tune my PIDs and get a better understanding of KISS.
