This is my 3 inch build on an iFlight ix3 frame. I used all the components on my tyrant 150 frame and moved it over because I was tired of that frame. It was way too heavy and didn't have much room at all. I am pretty proud of how clean this came together, my Tyrant build looked like total crap.

I started by putting shrink on my xsr and putting it under the fc. I had to put nuts underneath the standoff to give myself a little more room. I would have rather used an xm+ or an xsr-r but it works. Then I placed my fc and soldered on my motors and esc's. This process was relatively uneventful. Then (the part I am most proud of) I cut a non conductive fc size piece in half and used that to hold on my vtx. I did this because I love how the Maytek vtx mounts. Then I just slapped on my camera and I'm done.

This frame is so much lighter than the tyrant. The tyrant build was 180g without battery and this is 140g, which is pretty great.

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
