This was actually my original freestyle build, but I recently went back and rebuilt it with some new gear.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

How do those props perform?
Awesome! I've been running them on a few various quads over the last month or so, and I like them quite a bit. They do best on low-mid kV like 2300-2400kv, and larger stators. They handle quite nicely, though the very high advance ration makes them a bit slippery at low throttle in tight turns. Not as bad as the 5051 or the Avans though. I found them easier to tune than the Avan, and not nearly as hard on the battery as the 5051, as well as better in a larger range of angle of attack. They don't have quite the low end of the 5152, but they are significantly more durable and have a bit more top end speed. Overall a really good prop, I'll probably using them a lot more.
Thanks for the mini review! I'll have to pick up a set. I've been stuck in the dark ages as far as props go and need to try something new :)
