Hello, I am first time quad/rotor builder/flyer. I wanted to start with something simple and safe to fly (for everyone), so decided on Tiny Whoop. After some research online, I found websites such as rotorbuilds, oscarliang.com, and banggood, to name a few, the best to use for getting started. There are of course many other good sites out there, so I apologise if I haven't come across yours yet.
Being an engineer I also want to tinker, so for me self-build and open source is a good choice.
In that vein I opted for the Jumper T8SG multi-protocol transmitter and the Eachine Beecore V2.0 F3 flight controller, compatible with Inductrix and Eachine E010 E010S Tiny Whoop frames, as the heart of my system. This FC contains everything I needed to get started: FC, receiver, ESC, PDB, and even OSD (although I'm not yet using it); and is even compatible with Betaflight/Cleanflight. The other parts just fell in to place. The only real choice being camera, where I opted for a small AIO solution.

Battery cage needed to be cut out to fit Inductrix style batteries, and to get better access to USB port.
Accidentally broke off one of the motor connectors, so soldered wires directly to PCB. Can be seen in foreground of the camera holder photo (the blue and red wires)
Weight with battery: 28.4g
Without battery: 21.8g
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
