After some great design help and advice from my friend Stefan and a build up from my friend Paul this will get buttoned up this week and a session print made for a possible maiden in the next few days... Thank you Stefan for helping me get a vision to an actual frame. Here's the Hildagard 395. It's setup for either top or bottom battery mount. Pictured with T-Motor MN 3100-17 700kv motors, 10" Lumenier CF 10x4.5 props, HobbyWing Xrotor 40a stack, tbs micro v2 rx, tbs unify pro, and Runcam mini Fpv cam. Hopefully this weekend I'll be able to really fly it and try some different sets of props types and brands and see what happens.
I must say a big "thank you" to all who continue to show interest in the Hildagard frame, those who have purchased a frame, those who are possibly considering a purchase, or even those who just have had questions or comments. I'm also happy to see all the new people who are ordering and receiving them daily worldwide. I'm proud to have given it a variation of my last name when it was being conceived. I named it after my youngest daughter who faces a lot of battles growing up with special needs daily and is a strong fighter! I just thought I'd share a little personal information on how it became what it is today. When I reached out to Stefan van der Ende to help me bring my vision to a reality I never imagined it to be more than a personal goal of mine to have a Long range/ Acro platform of my own. Now that it has went worldwide in interest and sales I hope all who own one or may own one in the future are as happy when flying it as I am. This truly is an amazing and one of a kind 10" frame.
Here's the definition and how I blended it with her last name: The female name Hildegard derived from the Old High German words hild (=war or battle) and gard (=protection) and means "battle guard".
Hidalgo = Hildagard
I have had a personal website for years and with all the interest I have decided to add a basic "all-in-one" way to contact me for a frame kit or additional arms. It's very simple for now but it's easy and it works.
Thank you

What's the AUW? Are you posting design and spec of frame?
2-15-2018 update:
Rainy, and very windy but I squeezed in a 7 1/2 min flight on a 2200mah 5s pack at work in between storms with plenty of battery left over upon landing... I didn't get a chance to balance the props and the GoPro mount is s bit crude but I didn't care I wanted to fly it. The power on tap is amazing and it never pulled more than 40a at the most... very efficient. This wasn't for beautiful scenery or fancy flying I just wanted to get it in the air for a test. I'll have time coming up to fly it with balanced props and get things tuned up but here's some raw video.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
