Mode 2 ghost, basic and lightweight

I made this ghost for racing with 3s battery (it's a racing category in Belgium). It tried to find the perfect balance between weigh to power on 3s. For that i used 2205 2400kv rcx motor and 5040 props to keep a good acceleration although I might lose some top speed but I think 3s competition is not about the best top speed.
Then I have worked on the aerodynamic, at first I wanted to heatshrink the whole arm with the motor wire to have the sleekest profile but I decided to go for electrical tape for the ease of repair.
Because I use flysky and only one big receiver is really reliable I end up too short of room inside to put the sma connector so I used a simple wip antenna.
The weight is 245g without battery and 390g with the 3s I'll use to compete. I need led light for the race so I designed a little 3d printed led holder.
In the end it works very well I have crazy long flight time out of my battery and very decent performance, clearly my fastest quad on 3s. It is also impressively quite. The hglrc stack is amazing, without any tune it is my best flying, smoothest quad.

Nice build! TIL there is a 3S competition in Belgium :)
I'm building something simular with the HGLRC F440 stack and still not sure which direction to mount the stack. I've considered the way you've mount it but the USB connection seems hard to reach. How's it working for you so far?

The pin of the stack broke after a small crash so I went for a racerstar f4s tattoo. Not as smooth as the hglrc but at least I can crash it without losing 50$ every time. For the USB I don't mind having it in the front, it is very easy to remove the camera on this build and access the USB. Personally I don't need to plug it often so I am fine with it but if you like to do regular updates it is better to have it easy to reach on the side.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
