Pushing the Limits

Intro

Got a deal on the motors and frame/FC combo. I gave it a shot with a standard 1S battery, and it could barely get off the ground. The low-battery alarm would go off instantly when using my Venom 600mAh 30C 1S LiPo. So, I decided to give it some more juice; in came the 2S Turningy 300mAh. The motors aren't rated for 1S, hence the name, pushing the limits. We'll see how long it lasts!

Update: 2/27/2018

The 1S motors lasted about half a battery. They were peppy as could be though! I did 1 punch out and it screamed by me, then fell out of the sky with 1 dead motor. I'm saving the other 3 as spares for my QX80 (currently transplanting the same racerstar 8520 motors into it), and have ordered some FuriBee 2S 8520 motors. They're on the slow boat... Will update once they're installed!

Update

the FuriBees didnt last long either. managed to get about 2 batteries through them before 1 started going out. Running some 2S rated 8520s from amazon now. I'll try and get DVR footage next time she flies
