3/10/18 - This is gonna be so cool! I built it out enough to test fly with the f4 pro corners. I don't like this FC. Getting a Helio Spring.

3/12/18 - Crashed hard. Killed a motor. Tossed GPS. Waiting on replacement motors. Flew with FauxPro. It's okay. Getting a Runcam Split.

3/20/18 - Split, Helio and Mach2 are going in tonight. Don't like CMOS, getting another Foxeer Arrow. This time a Mini to get my view outside the carbon cage. This build is getting pricey but I hope to sell the parts I wound up not liking.

3/21 - Starting to fly it regularly. Mach 2 is great. Smartaudio is handy. I even listen to the fpv feed through an earbud sometimes. I'm currently designing some accessories.

3/27/18 - Crash Testing the Runcam Split Mini Housing. Of course I didn't install the SD card protector plate.

Other than refining my printed accessories and adding crossfire, I'd say this build is essentially complete!

This thing is the cadillac of 5" quads.

Thanks! You guys did a hell of a job with this thing! I added skids to the booties just to keep that sexy ass bottom plate sexy. Still messing with it a lot. Going to get Lungo arms for it when they are out. Who am I kidding I'll probably just build a Lungo.

I really like it, I just used an extra lng lens for fpv cam to get my PoV outside the carbon cage.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
