The name is the singular form of Crebain, the crows that Saruman used as spies in Lord of the Rings [thank you LOTR wiki]. It isn't a "droner" joke but it seemed fitting for a badass camera drone.

I haven't heard much about this scaled up 3" Massive Droner frame, but it looks amazing and hopefully lives up to the hype of it's 2.5" little brother. I'm using some spare parts from the drawer, hence the separate f4 flight controller replacement and overkill 38amp ESC [fingers crossed they play nice].

I'm not sure on the quality of the AKK vtx, but it's hard to say no to 600mw with smartaudio and a stack mount for $19 [with Amazon Prime shipping, no less!].

1407 motors have been my go-to in this size range for the past year, and I had a spare so I decided to stick with that. The new 15xx class look nice, but at this weight the 1407's will be plenty.
