My first 5" quad. Used the Armattan Rooster frame around a Bardwell F4. It's quite a difference from the Japalura, lol. I love this thing!

Great looking build! I've an almost similar build except for the escs! :)

How is your GoPro footage with this setup? I'm getting some jello in my footage. Have soft mounted my motors and the FC. Have tried using the gopro session armor and also a fixed gopro mount. Both have the same issue.

Thanks! The GoPro footage isnt too bad. I did have a bunch of jello when I was trying to soft mount the GoPro but then I nixed that and just get it as tight as I can with the strap. Between that and switching form the RaceKraft props to some DalProp props, the jello is mostly gone. Of course if you crash or bend a prop then you'll get some too but overall it's not that bad.

Good to know that its gone for you. So I figured out my issue too - I had electronic stabilitzation ON on my session 5! It's recommended to turn it OFF. And motor 1 bell was also bent. I replaced that motor too. With these two changes, jello is gone. I still get some micro vibrations when cruising at lower speeds (especially noticeable close to the ground), but overall much much better than what I had before.

Weird. When I scrol through my Session5 settings, I see image stabilization, but it says n/a and I can't change it.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
