I couldn't stand the latency and the dropped frames of the split 2 and have been wanting to build something like this for months, then I found the perfect frame. The Intrepid. I won't say this is the perfect set up but it gets the job done very well. She is a little piggy comming in at 220g and if I were to build it again I would use 1608's and spring for some 1050 batteries. On the Pulse 860's i'm getting a little more than three minutes. The Airblade intrepid frame is well thought out but heavy. Having both 20x20 and 30x30 mounting options on both top and bottom plates made this build pretty easy. I wish Runcam could fix the problems with the split, I would love to mount the cam in the frame but this solution puts out some great footage. I have a little prop in the footage but plan on increasing the angle a degree or two wich should fix that.
That's a pretty neat Runcam Split holder. I almost thought it was a Session for a second there. Is that on Thingiverse?
