Rotorious LB97

I've spent a TON of time with 2" rigs trying to balance power to weight to smoothness to float to durability and this discontinued Rotorious LB97 has the best balance of all those things for me.
At 63 grams dry even with tiny little 2" props it still has decent float and these GoolRC motors make just enough power to be exciting but not so much that it vibrates like hell which is a really big problem with 2" rigs after they've been crashed a few times. If you're really hammering it and covering a lot of ground, the 2s 450mAh batteries will only give you around 2 minutes of flight time but that's not what these 2" rigs are built for, use the right tool for the job, don't try to cover a ton of ground, and you'll easily get 2.5 - 3 minutes out of this setup.

It used to be on 1103 10,000kv motors with bi-blade Ladybird props which dropped the AUW down around 55 grams and upped the run time to 3+ minutes, but this setup was nowhere near as durable (at least one prop would break on almost every crash) and I had to hand drill the Ladybird props out which was just too time consuming after a while but the performance was admittedly fantastic...

Try cutting off two blades from each Dal Cyclone prop. It will give you a sturdy biblade prop that never breaks with additional speed and flight time.

Wow, that flies great for the size. Too bad the top plate shows up in the video though.

If there were an AIO camera with a bit less FOV it would be perfect, alternatively the camera mount has some space in front before the standoffs so if I can get my hands on the 3D print files I may be ble to have someone mod it to move the camera forward a tiny bit.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
