Hey this Mockup is for an ImpulseRC Reverb. Thinking of trying out the HelioRC Spring FC on Butterflight to see what all the hubub is about. Any honest feedback about the Spring Board and Butterflight is appreciated- I'll probably build this late next month so I have time to make a decision.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Since you are looking for input: Seems like you had a pile of parts, and picked expensive ones.
Those motors look ready to explode the first time you touch anything.
The ESCs look way wider than your arms. I'd recommend a 4in1 so you can skip the pdb and power the helio direct from the esc. Also, the ones you linked are only as pre-order.
go with a mini-cam. Save more weight. It's even the same price normally.
I like the AXII stubby vtx antenna. I used to run Pagoda. The AXII break less.
Those batteries seem a bit overpriced, for the same price you can get these. https://www.racedayquads.com/collections/4s-batteries/products/tattu-r-line-1300mah-95c-4s-square-lipo-battery-pack-with-xt60-plug
The helio board is black magic. Butter is black magic spread. I encourage both.
Final comment, your build will get in the air without problems. This is all just feedback based on my experience and preferences :)
Thanks for the response... I've already run the Wraiths with the Hypetrains on my Stingy and they run very smooth and cool and have been surprisingly tough- you may be right on the width of the ESCs though- I have an unopened set and will check how it looks when I get the frame- the arms do widen out some nearer center. Tha stack is pretty low though so what 4-in-1 works well with the Helio board while maintaining the necessary low profile?
Asls I've used lots of Tattu batteries and got most of my Adrenaline series through Drone Charge-up at a similar price and they seem less prone to puffing than what I've seen with the tattus- and I like the weight savings- about 25 or 30 grams...
Good to hear about the heliorc board and Butterflight- I tried to run it on my latest build PROton Skeleton with a Kakute F4 v2 but weird stuff was happening and i couldnt get it to work properly so I went back to Betaflight and it runs great. It'll be good to start with a board that was made for Butterflight.
I currently am running the Racerstar 35A anniversary w/ my Helio. Though I use dental bands instead of nylon standoffs to seperate my board stack components.
Dental Bands!!! Brilliant!! Thanks I'll take a look at that esc.
