My 5" toothfairy. This is probably my favorite build. It was only 248g before i put the gopro mount on it and such. It was basically an impulse buy, soon as I saw the 20x20 hglrc stack with 40a esc that could handle 5s i had to have it. Took a while to get working properly, i experienced failsafes, camera and even flight controller reboots mid flight. The fix ended up being 2x 1000uf 35v caps on the esc, one to the battery leads and one to the dedicated pads for a capacitor. Havent had an issue since. This is my go-to freestyle build, I basically bring it everywhere. Dry weight is 272g.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

How is the video reception with the small dipole so close the the battery? I have the same build plans
Video is solid. The battery is bottom mounted so i get good signal. I actually swear by this camera. Its a 16$ AIO but the video is better than most of my full size quads lol
Sorry i thought you commented on a different build. But same goes, battery is on the bottom. This ufl actually broke off so i soldered the whip right to the vtx and i was suprised at how good the video was
I ended up getting the frame, love it.
