Experimenting with 3 different flight controller solutions, this build focuses on the Helio Spring with an f3 processor dedicated to prefiltering the gyro data and an f4 for the pid loop.
Warning - As of 4/18/2018, the wiring diagram for the Helio Spring is incorrect for Spektrum. The signal wire should go to RX2, not the SBUS port which is inverted and not compatible with DSMX.

Did you connect straight to vbat? Has it been running OK?
Hey, yeah, no problems running full vbat off the fc on the Mach 2. No issues whatsoever. Go for it.
