how does it fly? what kv motors did you get?

Crispo   May 06, 2018

Check what I wrote to Burning North down below. Since I fly 5 inch, I got the 2800 kv.

camera is quite vulnerable out there but i also have a mongoose with micro sparrow set with front verticals pointing backwards however i get alot of motor and props in my fpv image. does setting it out front eliminate most of that issue?

Not that much really, if at all. I ended up flipping it back again.

Nice! I'm about to put the same motors on a Mode 2 Ghost; would love to hear how this flies!

It's really quick, and benefits from lighter packs. It turns very sharp, less drift than I get on my regular freestyle rigs. It's also very floaty, so you need to practice proper throttle control, or else you lose the benefit of the lighter motors.

Very interesting motor prop combo. A zip tie and heatshrink will keep your vtx antenna out of the props.

Yeah, I'll make sure to tie it down properly when everything is dialed in properly! Thanks for the feedback :)

The Aomway Commander V2s are the 2018 followup to the successful Aomway Commander V1 FPV headset. Unlike their predecessor, which targeted the FatShark Dominator V3s, the Commander V2s have set their sights higher toward the FatShark HD3s. Instead of 16:9 displays with a 32 degree field of view (FOV) the V2s now sport 4:3 displays with an impressive 45 degree FOV. And unlike the HD3s, these switch..

The FB 009 is a lightweight and compact budget FPV headset. When I first saw this I thought it might be worth a try. I'm never quite sure which headset to recommend at this price point, so let's see how this stands up. Most notably it includes a USB chargeable 1S 1200mah battery which is a decent capacity for an internal battery. The headset is compact and features a 3" 480x320 16:9 display. The..
