So I wanted to build something different and was interested with either the Hyperlow frame or Ummagawd Remix. I went for the remix because there are many different features that caught my eye. The way the hatch opened for servicing is a great idea. Having a low CG like Hyperlow was also a cool feature. But the main feature that sold me on this frame was the fact that all you need is to remove one screw to change out the arm. Now for the things I dislike about this frame is the fact that the titanium screws that comes with it are absolute garbage. I believe its grade 2 and it strips out quite easily. For the price, I would've wanted better hardware. Also, I wish they would've included a micro cam mount. I went ahead and used a full sized runcam eagle 2 for this build. All in all, the build came together quite nicely. I decided to include LEDs on this one. This is my first time utilizing LEDs on a build and it did complicate the wiring a bit. AUW is quite heavy with GOPRO session, 3D printed mount, 3D printed accessories and 4s battery. The total weight with said items comes out to 634 g. It would've easily been aroung 580g if I did not include the 3D parts but Ill take weight just to have a bit more protection.

If it really is grade 2 titanium that is sad... Grade 2 titanium is weaker and heavier than 7075 Aluminum

This guide will walk you through the process of building your first FPV quad. The goal with this design was to build a low-cost, lightweight quad, yet powerful enough to safely carry a GoPro in close proximity areas. I chose these parts to minimize the amount of soldering at no cost to the quality. A typical build requires around 30 solders while this only needs 25. It's not a huge difference, but..

In late 2019 DJI made inroads into the FPV scene with their remarkable low-latency digital system. It gave us a 720p video feed with latency on-par with the status quo, analog video. Traditionally we've used analog video systems for low-latency video, but the video quality is far from ideal. It's a trade-off we've been willing to accept for the control. Now we've got the best of both worlds and what..
