Hello Folks,
I love this frame so much I decided to make a mid range low cost free style build. Sadly I do not have rolling plains or super large areas to really get out there for range, but for the increased flight times with what I have it should be great.
The motors are new and have very limited data @ the time of this post to go off of, but for the price I couldnt beat it. Going to try both 4S 1500 / 4S 1800 lipos to see what yields me the best results. Might even try a 4S 2200mah to see if the weight want be an issue. Amps draw should be low with 4S, but I have the option for going 5S in the future if im feeling frisky!! Any thoughts shoot them my way and thanks!!
Cheers and thanks for checking out my latest build and happy flying!!!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

why bottom mount, and if bottom mount why not run antennas out the top?
I feel that the CG is better for the way I fly and for the antennas I'm just trying for better diversity since my new DX6 G3 supports it better then my DX8 Gen 1
