Love this build! I have a 1407 version I'm building as well to go head-to-head. This flies awesome!
Oh...all titanium screws too! WOOHOO!
Weight 112g (no battery)
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

What kind of flight times are you getting with those motors? How do you like them? Im considering putting them in the 2.5inch eclair plus frame. Ive heard they are efficient and relatively powerful, but I cant seem to find any videos of them in the air.
This is absoutely my favorite quad. I keep building new ones for fun, but keep coming back to this. With a 3s 500mah HV Turnigy pack I can get 4 minutes of heavy flying, more if I'm easy on the throttle. With a 3s 650mah pack I can easily get 5.5 minutes or more. By far my favorite motors.
Excellent! looks like itll handle 4s too. Ive got some super light, 77gram 700mah 75/150c 4s airblade packs that would probably work great with this. Just to confirm, does this have the same mounting pattern as 11xx motors? or is it larger? I've never used the shorter 1404 motors before.
Yes, same pattern as 11xx motors.
Awesome! thankyou so much for your help. Airblade is really killing it lately! btw, im not sure if youve seen them yet, but ive heard the new rotorx 3044tx props pair really nicely with this motor. I think they were actually designed specifically for 1404's.
