This is easily one of the cleanest flying quads that I've built... without ANY tuning.
REAL Maiden Voyage video included for proof:
Helio Spring Butterflight 3.3 (later builds aren't as stable... yet)
I still have a few little oscilations to tune out and a small thrust bobble. But all things considered, I'm VERY happy.
The Helio Spring, though still in its early days is a pretty brillaint little device (however it does have its issues).
And CMW really outdid themselves with the Merica, it's a very well designed kwad.
I live in the Bay Area, which though it looks like there is space in those rolling hills, there is actually very little space you can legally fly a kwad. I have my office lots that I keep to myself for weekend flying, but that said, smaller kwads are worth it. This 4" so far fits the bill, and it's an absolute pleasure to fly.
The Split also takes it up a notch with the HD video footage.
Comes in just under 250g if I run 600mah Batteries.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

What's the weight on it without a battery?
If I recall correctly it was somewhere between 160-170g.
Thanks. I'm seriously considering building one. Either this or a FPV FlightClub Neutron 4 inch.
