Most stuff comes from banggood.
ESCs introduce some noise on max throttle. I need to put caps on them.
Flys pretty well even with the high kv (2600) motors considering the weight of the model is 337grams (everything but a battery).
Added some diatone ESC protectors (anodized aluminum) more for the looks. I guess in a hard crash the will deform pretty easy and trap the esc inside XD. The ESCs were a tight fit. I had to sand a bit of the pcb off to fit them into the protectors. Definately not for everyone. Not recommend :P.
With the tpu mounts the camera sits well protected inside the frame.
The runcam micro has a runcam control adapter on its back, so i can control everything with the remote (flightcontroller suppprts tramp smart audio).
Motors and FC are softmounted. Therefore the built was a bit fiddely, fitting everthing inside and keeping it clean. It is a snug fit but doable with this stack.
All together a nice "middle class" build but definately not a high-end racer. Good every-day-copter.
Frame tends to delaminate easily on the pointy ends. Use some CA-glue to protect against it.
To finish it up i conformal coated every single board, ESCs, FC, PDB/VTX, Runcam, Runcam Control Board,... everything!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Stylin'! Can I call it grubbs? or grubby? the stacks of white o-rings look like fat grubbs in a tree
I will rename it, if you tell me what "grubbs in a tree" are XD? Never heard of it (english is not my first language).
I actually used thar many o-rings since i had no standoffs in the right height. The o-rings just fit right in a stack of three :).
