NOTE: This is not my build, but a build by a guy named Kopterheld.

On Youtube I found zis video vrom Kopterheld, where he reviewed ze BetaFPV 65 pro. Only it's not for sale yet in Europe, so he built one from parts. This is that build. He also has this nice blog, where he does interesting builds and the BetaFPV 65 pro DIY build is also documented there.

That machine looked like so much fun and so cool, particularly because of that AEIOU (Absolutely Everything In One Unit) board, the Crazybee F3. It's even more integrated and smaller than the F428... ESC's integrated on the FC and even got a current sensor, holy Mozes! I totally love where this is going. So I sat down yesterday evening and ordered all the parts. Here's the build for all of you that want to build one too.

Update:
Right, and today I discovered the UR65, a radical new BNF micro, and immediately bought one of the last available UR65 units on Banggood. The 1-battery version sold out as I was buying it; the payment transaction couldn't complete because of it. So I bought the 3-battery version, with the parallel charger, for 11 euros more. Didn't want to wait for the restocking that had an estimated time of 2 weeks. The specs of the UR65 and BetaFPV 65, including weight, are almost idenitcal. I can't wait to fly them both. Link to the UR65 is here.

You' better off money- and time-wise, buying the UR65. I paid 80 euro's for it, including 3 batteries and a charger. The DIY BetaFPV costs about 20 euro's more to build. But if you like building... go nuts.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
