So the purpose of this build was to have a micro size quad that can rip on all types of track sizes and classes. Being a 135mm frame I can run 3" props on larger outdoor tracks, or put 2.5" props on it to compete in the MultiGP micro class. The total weight of this build is 86G with battery strap, but no battery. This build is specifically for 2S lipo's with high C rating. I recommend GNB 80/160C batteries from 550mah to 750mah.

A great frame, at 30g it is a bit heavy but it is super durable, which is why I picked this frame.
As of June 2018 the frame needs a little modding to work perfectly. Hopefully the manufacture will tweek the frame at some point but if not, here is what I recommend.

Step 1. Slot the 2mm flight stack holes 2mm in length toward the front. This will allow the stack to clear the rear aluminum standoffs better.
Step 2. Move the battery strap to in front of the flight stack instead of under it. To do this you will need to dremel a bit of material off of the camera mounting plates where it meets the main plate. (See pic)
Step 3. Cut the 2mm standoff that is over the FPV camea to match the width of the FPV camera. It is a mm to wide and so taking the top plate on and off requires fiddling with the camera mount plates to line up with the slots in the main plate.

Here is a link to my video on Youtube of me racing it in the open class at the 2018 MultiGP Regional Qualifier.

At the end of that vid you posted it sais you pulled out 1241mAh from your battery, I take it you have not calibrated your current sensor? I would ask if it was a 5" that you accidentally posted but it sais that your max amp draw is 16a... which leads me to believe that it was running on a 2s battery (not to mention you said so AND it sais your min voltage was 7v)

The OSD is not calibrated. The YT video is for sure from my micro as that is the only quads I have!

I was there in that race (you can see me at the start punching past him with a 5"). He definitely was kicking my ass with a 2s micro!

awesome little build. i finally got into racing recently and have been using my babyhawk r 2.5 and now looking to build a new racer. ive been following you since your interview on the fpv podcast and learned alot about the little guys since then, tho my first brushless micro was the kingkong flyegg100 which now has some hglrc 1104 7500's on it and still on 2s but i love ripping that little thing. any way keep up the great work!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
