This is my second medium/long range build. What sold me on this frame was the look of the thing. Sexy! The build was very straight forward and things went together nicely. Once assembled, configuration went smoothly with no hiccups. EVERYTHING worked from the jump. That was a first for me.

This ship flys extremely well with the F7 FC and Betaflight 3.3.3. It has a ton of speed with the 4s batteries! The Avan props make some weird noises at times, but they fly like they are on rails. I would highly recommend this ship to anyone looking for a medium/long range and wants a great build/flight experience.

Thanks to those who posted their Raggio builds here. They inspired and helped with this build for sure.

Peace and Happy Flying!!

How do the motors hold up?

Sorry for the long delay. I crashed this bird a few weeks after posting the build. I ended up replacing 3 of the four motors (one bent shaft and two felt gritty when turning) after the crash as well as a bottom plate, two arms, and two top joiners. The Raggio Lungo is back up and flying now and the motors are holding up well so far. I have maybe 7 packs flown so far.

They held up well until a failsafe crash from way up there. I naw have XING 2207 1700kv ones on this bird ans they are very smooth so far.

What flight times are you getting?

gsixx8fpv   May 22, 2019

10 minutes with a 2300mah 4s battery cruising around 40mph.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
