Hayabusa 2" 🦅

The Hayabusa frame has SO MUCH space for the components! Easy to put everything in and there's still a lot of room left. The weight without the battery is 84g.
The printed accessories are of the highest quality as with any Tomoquads frame. The standoffs are nylon with m3 screws and hopefully will hold up.
The older version of the HGLRC FC doesn't have any UART pads so I had to remap the LED pad for the smart audio as a soft serial. The FC runs Betaflight 3.3.1
I had to flash the receiver with the latest firmware to have Rssi on the channel 16
This drone desperately needs more power. While it's on the heavy side,I was hoping 1104 will be enough but it seems these motors are crap. I will be upgrading it to 1106 motors. Stay tuned...

Nice build, i want to ask about these motors, i think that 1104 is ok but 4100KV + 2 inch DYS props is the problem, i would try them on 2.5"-3" props probalby with 2S ? Have you got any 2540 or 3020 props and 3 inch frame ? I also think that 84g is bit too much for 2", for example my lizard 95 lite weights 54g :/

The conclusion I came to is that 84g is too much for 2"! 🏋️ You are absolutely right! Therefore, I took the drone apart for parts after I disliked its performance with 1105 motors. Since then I have put the 1104 motors on the Komori 3" (see my builds) which weighs 74g and flies amazingly with 3025 props.

are eagle power motors good? lik equality and durability?
Not sure if all Eagle power motors are of the same quality. I have had 1104s and while the power was excellent the wires were junk, almost impossible to solder. I would not buy motors with wires like that again.

It's not a trivial task to replace the wires. If you already have the motors and the wires are single-thread just take extra care when soldering. If you cut the wires to make them shorter make sure you remove the clear isolation film off the copper or solder won't stick. Also, if the insulation material is not silicon it will shrink like crazy. It's not easy but doable.
