Iflight XL7 Hyper-Low True X 7inch frame. The frame will be used as a long range fpv quad, with gps and rescue mode feature using the latest Betaflight 3.4 RC. Frame will be using 6 inch bullnose (HQProps) at the moment, with 1600kv motor, 4S lipo. Chamfered arms are about 4mm thickness. Top and bottom plate are 2mm thick. Standoffs are 15mm, the lowest standoff i have ever used. But eventhough the very low profile, there are plenty of spaces for other electronics like vtx, RX, and GPS.
Overall, the XL7 Hyper-Low is a thing of beauty. The whole frame is very compact and has a very nice and smooth finished. Having a slim arms with chamfered sides, slick hyper-low long body, this will be surely lighter than other long range frames out there. Designed for micro fpv camera, 30x30mm FC (can also use 20x20mm FC), 4in1 or individual esc (must have thin profile width because arms width), a tbs unify pro HV can be placed at the back, together with the crossfire nano or rxsr, and a 1000uf 35V can be squeese between the FC and the fpv micro cam. Beware that once you use individual esc, placing a pdb and FC on stack will have a very small clearance on the top plate, no space for straps. Recommended to use all in one FC like Betaflight F4, to eliminate PDB. The build will be using Omnibus F4 V2.1 with armattan PDB, so there will be no clearance for the lipo strap. Luckily this build will be bottom mount, so Gopro, GPS, and 5.8 Antenna will only the one on top.
See below for some pictures of the build.
The quad is very smooth using the default pids and rates. It will probably feel lighter if using seven inch props or a 5S lipo. For flight footage (DVR and HD), 1km test, and island crossing test, here are the links.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

What's "rescue mode"? Pretty cool build.
Rescue Mode is Betaflight experimental feature that lets you recover or regain your controls when you fly far away/sudden failsafe.
