It seems every other build these days is a massive droner! There are good reasons for that, it's not just hype. It's a fantastic frame, easy to build, provides good protection and looks great.
It's especially easy if your FC of choice is HGLRC Zeus. It leaves you wondering if you have forgotten something because the build comes together so quickly.
Curious to try the new R9 mini. It's as tiny and costs just as much as the XM but it has telemetry and hopefully, even with less than optimal antenna placement, will give a good range.
Total weight without a battery is 97g
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Locked into 3S with that FC...to bad :(
What do you mean? It's a beast on 4S! Definitely runs on 4S though the motors get hot. So if anything it's the motors that limit it. Check the specs, they say the FC will run on 4S as long as the current is under 10A(or 13A, I don't remember)
OMG...the link you posted to the FC says 2s-3s everywhere...good to know. Thx... :D
