INTRO
Best. 2". Ever.
I have flown a few 2" frames in my time (it's probably my favorite size, actually), but this one is hands-down my favorite. Now, I'm not just saying that because I designed it. I designed the IO95 as well. However, something about the narrow arms, axial camera mount, and aerodynamic (well, more than a top plate) canopy makes this a lethal 2". It's my go-to quad that, since it's creation a few weeks ago, has seen, in this order: water (in a tree), metal, water (at the bottom of a slide), and many other hard surfaces that I can't even count, and he's still taking it like an absolute champ.
THE BUILD
As far as a 2" build goes, there's nothing too special here. Once again, I recommend doing the motors and ESC in one step and then the FC and everything that goes onto that separately before finally connecting them. This is a prototype frame, so yours will be even better, should you order one. For example, the little "bucket" holding the camera is maxed out in terms of angle in my case, but I made the design a bit better since then to allow more tilt. There's also more space between the stack and the camera in case you use a micro board camera that's deeper than this.
CONCLUSION
This is a KICKASS frame for 2", no way around it. It can really get going with a good setup and ample room, but it can also be very relaxed and controlled if you visit your local playground or park. Overall, as I said, it's my favorite 2" so far, and I really think you should try one too.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
