I needed a twin to my racer with the same flight characteristics so if something broke I had a backup. I decided to use a different stack than my original racer but same frame and motors. The Hyperlite FC was great to work with, very easy to connect and solder to with a completely flat bottom so very easy to fit into a tight stack if needed. It also has lots of open and accessible UARTs, I'm using 3 and still have 3 available. The Spedix ESC is brand new and there's not much about it yet but I've had good luck with Spedix and this was no exception. Very nice design and very little noise. In fact, without a cap I am getting completely clean video. EMAX has released their new RS line of motors but my original was built with the LS motors so I stuck with them. They are good and great for the track. They spin up fast and have lots of power and I haven't had any issues with them at all.
Initial test hover and punch out went off without a hitch and test flight went great. Hopefully the weather will hold out and the true track test will be this Saturday.

Maiden test flight. Nothing special, just checking the video and making sure everything performed as expected. Motors were cool and everythign went fine. I got the problem with the current display worked out and made some other adjustments. Ready for the track this weekend.
