Just finished this build. It was very very tight and I really tried to fit a lot into it, even a Hellgatebuzzer between the stacks, the rather big Graupner HOTT GR12L SUMD and even a 4 LED strip on the back.Just finished this build. It was very very tight and I really tried to fit a lot into it, even a Hellgatebuzzer between the stacks, the rather big Graupner HOTT GR12L SUMD and even a 4 LED strip on the back.
It flies really well, the big motors (1407) rock. Minor yello that does not bother me, but what really annoyed me, I had huge noise in the FPV-feed, lines going zig zag when throttling up in the goggles. Figured it the VCC was not filtered, switching to 5V of the FC solved that.

If anything, I would blame the vtx with a tiny antenna next to the huge battery wires with xt60. Also, this eachine vtx had a lot of noise one time I have used it. I know it is popular and cheap but I am not a fan

Nope, VTX-Antenne and battery seem not to be at fault. I tried it all when still apart and the battery on the side and VTX the other, far apart rom each other. Terrible noise.

VTX noise solved: the VCC of the FC is extremely dirty, switched to 5V and problem solved, even though would have preferred the VCC............let's see how she flies now with better vision. Sofar she flew extremely well. Video to follow.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
