A build based on the iFlight RC IX5 V3 frame that I won in a giveaway.
Themed in pink for extra cuteness.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Looks sweet! How much room is there in the frame? I'm thinking of building one myself but with the holybro kakute F7, atlatl and tekko32 stack (FC-ESC-VTX). The F7 protrudes a bit to the back, so wondering how much room you have in this frame. You used a micro cam on purpose to save on room?
Hey sorry for late reply - I should turn on my email notifications.
There's not awfully much space, but F7 should fit. There's actually quite a lot of space height-wise, so the stack should fit. Might be a bit trickier to fit receiver/battery strap, but I guess you'd manage. I'll post a picture of work in progress, maybe that will give you a bit more insight.
About the camera - I used micro because I wanted to be sure it'll fit + plus it was pink and I loved that :D The camera is actually pretty awesome, I'm sad I didn't get more of those.
