Definitely took my sweet time building this! This is the 10" propped Hildagard 395, designed by Charles Hidalgo and Stand-in Quad Design. I was super hyped about nearly every component in this build, and probably went super overboard on the power handling with the rediculous Vishay cap. I enjoyed a very conservative maiden on 4S, but my intention is to run 6S full-time - everything seems to function perfectly, although I need to be more patient with the GPS for accurate information. Lots more flying to do!
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..

Nice build.Keen to know what your flight times are when cruising?
Sorry for the delay - unfortunately I haven't been flying too much since this was built, and I never took the time to purchase a more ideal battery pack setup. It did well enough with just a 1250 6S, and I've also tried two of those same packs in parallel. It's got loads of lift and seems efficient but I don't have any real numbers, I just didn't get that far into the data. Currently in process of moving from NC to CO, so once things stabilize a little bit I will be able to take a look at the quad inventory and I'll be reconfiguring almost everything, so this setup will definitely change soon!
