The NANO 130H 130mm frame is a low budget freestyle "DEAD CAT" frame for 3 inch builds. Dead cat style design ensures no props in the view, which is RunCam SPLIT in this case, for HD recordings. It is very flexible frame, it provides 20mm and 30mm mounting in the centre of gravity, some early frames came with mounting holes also in a top plate which is a very nice touch. It enables builders to use 20x20 stack in combination with a split board (30x30), mounted to the top plate - there is enough clearance for 3 20x20 boards and one 30x30 bard. It's very easy to build and work on in a later stage. The parts are mix of low budget and some good quality in order to not let you down when cruising, or when enjoying much more dynamic freestyle mode. It takes 3s or lightweight 4s LiPos. I'm usually using two types of LiPos: Tattu 1050mAh 3s & Nano Tech 850mAh - having the same flight times (~4-5 mins) on both, however Tattus feel a bit heavier. I painted frame's edges myself.
I recommend to use some decent soldering station, 63/37 leaded solder and a heat gun. The rest of the tooling involves regular screw drivers, scissors, heat shrinks and magnification glass! In general, this is very fast build because of AIO FC, all that have to be done is to solder motors, a receiver an LED+Buzzer and FPV system. The VTX is powered directly from a LiPo and then it powers FPV Cam. That FC however, requires some precision and experience when soldering to little tiny solder pads. Be careful with the LED strip and a buzzer - I used a spare ground pad instead of buzz dedicated one which I found very difficult to solder to.
Don't forget to flash ESCs and FC to the latest firmware release. And check if FAILSAFE works as expected!!

BTW, how are you finding the Split? I'm torn between that and the Caddx version.
I really like it. Never had any major issues with it and V2 board is very stable and works flawlessly. What I found important is to ensure that the ribbon is well secured and attached to the board and the camera. I'm also very happy with video quality and 60 fps. Currently I've got two SPLIT quads. I can't comment anything on Caddx, but I comapre it more to split mini rather than split.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
