I've always loved the Gep RC frame's and the Elegant is no exception. I thought the build was going to be much harder, but with the Racerstar ESC and Matek FC having signal pads on both sides made it easy. The only thing that I had to do was rotate the the gyro 180 degrees in Betaflight.

I set the rear adjustable LED's that came with the frame to flash blue in Betaflight. This worked out great with the blue CLRacing LED's mounted under each arm.that get brighter when you give some throttle.
I'll be looking foward to some late evening flights and some fall footage with this rig. I think it turned out great and I hope y'all like it as much as I do.

how did you mount the fx3? Was thinking about using it as a vtx, but mixed reviews on rdq so im still hesitant.

I used this http://great3d.com/20mm-to-30-5mm-fc-adapter/ I guess I've been lucky with the fx3's all of mine have worked great.

Did you do a custom paintjob on the Hoot?

You know it!!

Best looking Hoot on the planet. The orange is just too much. Hard to match. Doesn't go with anything.

What do you think of the quality of the frame / carbon fiber? How hard was assembly (with the inverted board layout and all)?
I'm pretty interested in buying it, that's why I'm asking haha. Thanks!!

Hi, I would say the carbon in on par with any quality frames that I've bought. The inverted board layout was made easy with a little thought to the componets I chose. you can soder the motor wires front or back on the racerstar ESC that I used and the same goes for the signal pads on the Matek F7.

The Happymodel Mobula7 is one of those rare treats to hit the micro scene. Countless models hit the market every month, but this one just happens to check all the boxes. It's a 2S brushless micro with a 75mm motor stance. It's slightly larger than the more traditional 65mm brushed micros, but it's still quite small. It's ducted, so it's safe to fly most anywhere and it's got the power and control..
