KT's Martian Rover 6"

This is a 6" quad that I am building for longer range flying. The aircraft that I have now are designed for speed and efficiency was really a lower priority.

The first 5 flights were LOS sahakeout flight, but I was impressed that the cells after landing were still at 3.8 volts at 8 to 10 minutes!

My first FPV flight was 8 minutes and the next was 10! I will have to get used to this craft, very glidy! :)

Originally I was planning on having the pack slung under belly, but after a little adjusting the pack fit atop and feels better there.

Hi, did you fly it with bipale or tripale?? And with bipale, does it shake?? i have middle throttle oscillation with the bipale and i can't avoid them!!! Do you have a HD footage to see the flight....I'm really interested because 6" are so hard to tune......

thx!!! nice footage!!! no jello or throttle oscillations!!! so I have to reconsider my 6" (a lot of MTO !!!) Tripale or bipale??

I would try both and pick the one you feel is best. I have settled on the HQ 6x4.5 dual blade ones, which seem to stand up to my abuse :) I am going to try some tri-blade ones in 6" and see if they make any difference in efficiency.

What motors are your favorites?
