AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

Probably my favorite build on this site man. Love how minimalistic you kept it. I'm brand new to this madness. Planning on using the same frame, same color profile more than likely. Could you give me some tips on how you made your wiring so clean? Specifically the nylon mesh you have covering the motor wires, love that. Cheers.
many thanks, and welcome to the madness! :) covering the wires is quite simple, cut mesh + heatshrink to length, do the soldering, bring everything in place and let the heatshrink fix the mesh. to hold everything together nice and clean i used a bunch of 3d-printed parts. below some more pics to get an idea...
I see you made your own cable management parts, so well done. I appreciate the info. I'll be posting my first build at some point, hopefully sooner than later. Thinking about getting a 4 in 1 ESC, not sure yet.
You didn't need a PDB for this build?
Matek F405-CTR board is all-in-one (FC + PDB). no extra PDB needed!
So this would probably work as PDB + ESC right? https://www.getfpv.com/aikon-ak32-4-in-1-35a-6s-blheli32-esc.html
Apologies for the noob questions, just trying to get a grasp of this.
