How have you mounted the AXII Stubby on the back of the Rooster there? Are you using the included rubber grommets? I have a similar setup (on a Chameleon Ti, which I believe has the same back end) and including the grommet prevents a full connection but excluding it leaves a gap that prevents a solid fit...
I am actually using the carbon pigtail mount. It is the one without the gromet. This AXII is actually too wide to screw on all of the way because the plastic surrounding the SMA hole hits the screws that mounts the SMA connector from the VTX in place. This inhibits a full connection. I am still trying to find a solution. Most likely I will use a different antenna.
