Lang range 4S cruiser. Set up with betaflight GPS rescue using M8N glonass gps. This rendition is a full rebuild from my previos 5.7 Alien that took a dunk in a river. Plenty of power and decent flight times as long as you're concious of your throttle position. The alien frame is a pain to secure batteries via bottom mount but can be done with the correct size standoffs uner the FC.

Hello spilly!
Nice build :D
What antenna are you using for the crosfire RX? Is it custom made?

Nice 7" build. Interested to know your AUW too.
What size batteries are your running?

thanks! never weighed it but its not that heavy. on a 4s 1550mah battery it'll do 8 min flights if im throttle conscious. will be adding a new hero5 mount and go back to top mounting the batteries. feels more stable as a top mount.

Looks great. Whats the range? speed? Got video?

range is good. only been out 2km with it so far just testing the gps rescue mode. custom made rx antenne puts it way up and asay from the carbon ao LQ was 99% the whole way out and back. speed is good. fast enough to cover some decent ground pretty quick but still somewhat efficient. and just waiting on new gopro mount for video.

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
