Hildagard 395 by standinquads. This frame is extremely well designed and manufactured. swinging 10" props, it is built for everything from freestyle to mid/long range cruising. 6s flys terrifyingly fast and smooth and does great at efficient cruising. Easily my new favorite quad!

What is your average Amperage during cruising and also during more aggresive flight?

not sure. never set up current sensor in osd, but ive heard the others with the same setup have pullled around 200amp, maybe ~20amps while cruising.

What flight time do you have and what lipo ?

spilly   Nov 17, 2018

1800 6s gave me about 6 min flight. not pushing to hard but still having fun.

Sounds . . .
Which battery would recommend for longrange?

spilly   Nov 18, 2018

well carrying extra weight isn't much of an issue with 10" props so ive seen guys running 4000mah 6s on the same quad. i imagine with good throttle management you could get 15+ min of semi aggressive flying with a battery that big. even longer if you were flying slow and with batery conservation in mind.

Amazing build. what is the autonomy ? (with what type of battery)

spilly   Nov 14, 2018

thank you! and you mean AUW? ive never weighed it but others with similar builds are coming in around 1kg +/-. its heavy but weight isnt an issue this thing makes so mich power. im running 1800mah 6s packs right noq but am looking for somw 2200 6s & 5s packs to try also.

Agreed, this looks amazingly locked in with 10" props swinging around. Usually, it's vibration city at this size unless you are running a gimbal. What props are you running on this build?

I'm running 10x7 Aeronaut Cam Power Props. A little expensive but clearly worth worth it!

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
