This is gonna be fun...
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

So that's hawt. Is that a "school bus" or "stick of butter" style frame, but with a canopy top, instead of the "flatbed" part of the truck that normally holds the GoPro+battery? Or is that a completly origional frame, with a super aggressive canopy?
EIther way I dig the look, and your creativity using that broken prop as a turtle fin.
It's erm, idk its just completely original, i designed it around having 1 screw to remove each arm, and having the arms completely isolated from the main plate, thus could put in vibe isolation for the whole arm. didn't end up doing that but the concept is there.
the broken prop for the fin wasn't planned, but the grass where i was racing was a bit taller than i had expected and needed the extra height for turtling.
there is supposed to be a specific battery mounting plate that goes on the bottom but didn't have it for this race, thus zip ties and hope sorta held the battery (had quite a few ejections which wasn't fun).
kinda forgot i posted this so only just checked for responses hence the delay...
