This was the first racing quad I ever built, got all the basic parts on a real bargain. Used of course, but you can't ask for more when building a thing you will most likely destroy (which never happened actually). As the Realacc x210 frame is pretty compact, the build turned out to be quite tight, especially when you are trying to stack those components on top of each other. Because of space limitations and the quite huge size of ia6b receiver, had to do a depinning mod for it, plus voltage mod. Also had to update the firmware on FlySky i6 transmitter to see Vbatt on the display. At first I flew with 3S batteries, now I'm going with 4S. Experimented with different propellers, but the ones I currently enjoy are Dalprop Cyclone T5046C - really tough and survives anything.
Once the quad took fire because of a wire coming loose after a crash, but I put it down in a few moments, so not a big deal there apart from buying new ESC's and a motor. Now I have updated with quite a few security measures for such things not to happen again.
Overall, this frame is amazing, quad is real joy to fly. My ultimate goal is to make everyhting as tight as possible in order to get a really clean looking and powerful 210mm quad.
I had one go up in flames once after a crash and almost started a field on fire. Luckily the smoke helped me find it and I was able to stomp out the weeds that were on fire... I love first builds since it brings back memories such as fires :O Now I create fires on the bench when I connect things backwards :/
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
