I've been wanting to learn about dRonin, navigation, gimbals, and other gadgetry so I've started building this. Still printing gimbal parts, but it's flying with a decent autotune already. Foxeer NightWolf V2 is incredible in the dark. Hopefully this build will end up being a smooth cruiser with a gimballed hd cam.

I didn't set out for it to be super cheap, but the frame was $13, the motors $50, spare dji arms in black were $3, CAM 9x5 prop set was $10, and some of the other stuff is dirt cheap. ESC is from my junk box. The FC was pricey but it is by far the most feature rich I've ever used. I love dRonin OSD. Multiple pages of custom telemetry! :)

The gimbal is going to be based on the Primbal Session on thingiverse, and only 2 axis to start. I want to design a retractable 3 axis contraption later on.

The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
