Second build with one of my favorite frames, the 6" Aether from Flynoceros. This one is a 6S system with the new Brother Hobby Speed Shield motors and HobbyWing 45A ESC. They tell me that although rated for 6S, there have been many issues with this ESC burning up. Time will tell, but so far no issues. Thanks to Jeff at Stikit Skins for the cool vinyl wrap.

I haven't had a chance to test them much as it's been windy, rainy and miserable here for 3 weeks now, bu they're smooth, good power and seem to be quite efficient. They're also noticeably smaller and lighter when you compare them to other motors with the same specs

Cool thanks man, appreciate the feedback yeah I think Ill get them, I was a little hessitant because ive never seen anyone use this size for racing but I think it will have have an advantage due to them being light weight but have that extra power.

Nice build, how do you like those motors, I want to buy them for a race build but wanted an opinion first.

Additional note: The 3rd photo with the blue zipties on the arms shows the wiring outside the frame which I decided was a no-go. 4th photo is revised wiring. Of course when I rerouted them, they were a touch too short - RaceWire saved the day

AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
