I decided to give my son a quad that he would build for him self. He wanted smal 3" quad and he really loved the Airblade Eclair. He also did not want to fly 4s battery as he is afraid of the power and thus we choose the 1404 4840kv Superman motors as well from Airblade. The stack is HGLRC F4v2 + HGLRC 33A 4in1 and HGLRC nano vtx. I had some spare Foxeer Arrow Micro and R-XSR that went inside as well.
Soldering of such tiny parst proved to be very challengig for him. He was able to solder motor wires and pre-solder all poins on F4 board but putting the wires in was then my duty.

This build looks great! I have the same motors and can't wait to see them rip.

Awesome to see your son building it! πŸ‘ πŸ‘ πŸ‘ It should be a nice trainer and he may switch to 4S later once he gets more comfortable with it.

It's ducted, so it's safe to fly most anywhere and it's got the power and control..
