how did you mount the camera to the printed peice?

Ungineer   Feb 10, 2019

Small dab of hot glue on each side. Very firmly held in place.

Looks very cute! 👍 What does it weigh without a battery?

That's pretty good, totally flyable on 2"!

Sasquads   Nov 05, 2018

Is it fast?
I noticed you fly it with a 2s battery
You can go 4s on 2" with these motors, without them getting hot

It feels pretty fast and responsive, turns 180 on a dime but yeh I do want to run it off a 3s at least but I want to get used to it in 2s then up my power. Other thing that might be an issue is that FC says it takes 2-4s but a few people on forums reported their FCs blowing after a few minutes on 3s.

That should not happen
But I usually use the HGLRC stacks. Flies 4s without problems.

youll find 2.5" is much better for those motors. it will still fly but 2.5 is like night and day differance in power.

The iFlight XL5 V3 is a fantastic freestyle frame for the price. It features chamfered edges on some very nice quality carbon fiber. My goal for this build was to use high quality components at a relatively low price. Not only that, but I managed to reduce the number of solder points to the bare minimum. I've never built such a plug-in-play quad! The flight controller has an integrated VTX and doesn't..
