Well I built a Flynoceros Y Knot! This thing looked awesome on the Flyno site and is even cooler in person! I'm still tuning a bit but after lowering the stock Betaflight 3.5.6 PIDs and adding a notch filter it flies pretty good with the 6" Gemfan props. The 6" props come very close to the ground in the rear so I have tried a mixed setup of 6" bi-blades in the front and 5" tri-blades in the back, because Y Knot?
The SpeedyBee Bluetooth adapter seems awesome as I can change any settings by just disarming and opening the phone app!
From my 1500mAh 100C batteries I was able to hit over 140 amps. My flights range from 7 minutes to about 4 minutes depending on the throttle. Could probably fly longer if I flew nicer.
This was a fun build and it turned out great!
One mile out and back flight:
Some max amperage information:
110 amps mixed (Gemfan Flash 6042 front and Gemfan Flash 5152-S Props rear)
108 amps 5" only tri-blades (Gemfan Flash 5152-S Props)
136 amps 6" only bi-blades (Gemfan Flash 6042)
