Very nice and flies great.
AirbladeUAV has done it again and this time they've brought long range to the 5" class! Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. Just out of curiosity, I'm about to build one of these with the bardwell fc esc combo, and was wondering how you aligned your ESC, and how you fastened your xt60 lead? I cant quite see from the pics.
Sorry if these seem like stupid questions, but this is my first build. cheers.
the esc alignmment does not really matter as long as the chord from the FC to the ESC still reaches and all the motors can be nice and snug. The flight controller seems to be aligned with the XT60 on the side. You can change the orientation of the FC in betaflight pretty easily. You dont really need to secure the XT60 just make sure your battery wont fly off and you shouldnt have any issues.
As for the xt60, yeah basically just make sure it doesnt flop around a ton, if theres a lot of slack you can rubber band it to the frame or cut it to length.
