12/19 - I can't decide if I want to go Ascent or LiL Deuce

12/26 - Although the Ascent would be more protected and look better, the double weight is just too much of a factor. Using the LiL Deuce frame as the platform is just more beneficial.

01/01/19 - Deuce frame arrived and I'm questioning if the ducts should be mounted above or below the frame arms. The Deuce camera mount should fit between them in either position.

01/02/19 - Upon advice from FPVC, I will put the ducts below the frame so I can keep the motors solidly attached to the carbon.

01/08/19 - Putting the ducts and motors on was a little bit of a PITA and I found out the Rakon hoops at Heli-Nation are on CLOSEOUT sale. They look lighter and thinner. I also gave away all my 1.9 inch props by mistake. I guess I need new ones now? LOL!

01/20/19 Motor wires all extended, I got some 3D prints for a 16x16 mid mount camera. It is supposed to house an XM plus under it but my RX2A is too fat. It now rides on the rear of the mount like a GhostBuster Proton Pack. Video confirmed. I have to set it up in Betaflight and then maiden. It feels light and I have high hopes for this one.

Based on the popular Transformer Mini, the new Transformer 5" Ultralight adopts a lot of the same design philosophies with larger props and more payload capacity. It can fly upwards of 20 minutes on a 4 cell Li-Ion battery pack and in ideal conditions it's got a range of over 4 to 5 miles. In this guide I'll walk..

With the release of the DJI FPV Drone cinematic FPV has become a lot more accessible, but you certainly don't want to crash a $750 drone! The QAV-CINE Freybott is a compact, lightweight cinematic FPV drone that can take a hit and keep going. It's a lot safer to fly indoors and around people. With a naked GoPro or the SMO 4k you can capture some great stabilized footage. In this guide I'll show you..
