Wanted a longer range cruise ship. Despite being built largely from parts on hand, there's still quite a lot of new stuff for me in this quad: 900 Mhz control, telemetry, fport, GPS.

More features means more UARTS, and this FC doesn't have many, nor does it make them particularly accessible. I had to remove a couple of connectors from the board, and solder directly. Unsure if it's possible use RX1/TX1 for fport as the existing sbus inverter is likely to be driving the RX input. But probably ok for vtx control. Hence I ended up with:
FPORT -> TX3
GPS -> TX6,RX6
VTX Control -> TX1
Camera Control -> soft serial 1 TX=A1/PWM5, RX=A8/PWM6

serialrx_inverted = OFF
serialrx_halfduplex = ON

Choice of r9 firmware seems a black art. Here's what's being used:
